Amy Huddleston
Amy Huddleston Bio Under Construction

What Amy does:
Primarily a formalist using the human head/face as a base for experimenting with materials.
What Amy does best:
Painting, illustration, printmaking.

Education
Mostly self taught. Some college; University of Montana, Art Institute of Seattle. Primarily taught by Bill Cumming via workshops/studio visits, which is how I gained my understanding and use (or lack there of) of color.
Experience
Painter/artist for over twenty years. Proficient in the use of acrylic, tempera, oil, and watercolor. Drawing media, graphite, charcoal, and ink. Also producing handpulled printmaking techniques including, traditional etching, solar etching, linoleum block printing, and silkscreen.

Current paintings are characterised by color and shape relationships over form, though form is an important element in my ongoing faux portriat work.

Amy Huddleston debuts original work exclusively in Santa Fe, NM at POP Gallery in 2010. Contact us directly for details & to add this artist to your collection at 505.820.0788.
