POP Gallery debuts POP ART by established artists Diego Lukezic (Tangodog) and Amy Nelder !

Diego & Valerie Lukezic moved to Santa Fe from New Orleans after losing their home & gallery in Katrina. They moved into a Canyon road Studio and have been embraced by Santa Feans and tourists for the past two years. While Santa Fe has smiled upon them, still there is no place like home and in September the beautiful couple will return to the historic French Quarter from whence they came. It was their plan to wave farewell to the City Different, pack up their studio and visit occasionally
And then they found POP. Another serendipitous encounter.a meeting of the minds, combined vision for opportunity and now we are blessed to say that Tangodog will always have a home in Santa Fe.
POP Gallery currently has a beautiful body of original works on canvas of Tangodog and will debut Diego’s sculpture to the city in May!
A collection of new works by AMY NELDER features whimsical street vendors & markets, carnival of times past & present, fine dining & drink extraordinare…with every detail of each piece telling a story.
The professionally trained opera singer has also performed as a pop singer (once opening for Ray Charles), is one of the handful of forensic artists in the USA. Using her talent for public service she continues to work closely with the San fransico Police Department, in her hometown.
