In Brief: Serious daring comes from within and it takes a lot of chutzpa to be committed to ones craft and emerge with fresh and innovative work, consistently. POP Gallery showcases 10 artists who passionately dare to be serious. They dare, we dare …to feature art as a much needed breath of fresh air in the Santa Fe art climate.
Expect mixed media work in a variety of flavors from Dean Moran, Miguel Valenzuela, Christopher Merlyn, Dennis Larkins, Ben Keys, Alex Delehanty, Ryan Singer, Brice Tahyi, Laura Tarnoff, Leah Saulnier, Allison Butkus, Cougar Vigil & AJ Jimenez.
Original sculpture and works on canvas, paper, license plates & decks will be available …call for details & images. This event is free of charge.
POP Gallery opened in March and is fast becoming a place to see and be seen in Santa Fe. Whimsical works on paper and canvas are presented artfully in a lush and vibrant space unique to the city. Genres include illustration, animation, sculpture and encaustics with a focus on pop modernism in a variety of media. Bronze, wood and resin sculpture and furniture are offered in a modern vein.
POP Gallery works with a number of known artists both living and deceased including but not limited to Abstract, Illustration, Animation, Portraiture, Landscapes, Still Life and Sculpture in numerous media including glass, bronze, resin and ceramic. We also offer emerging artists wall space in an ever challenging market.
